Not much gets past our Director here at Dependable Limited, Ben Head. But there was one thing that took him by surprise the morning of the 16th December 2020.
An email telling him he had been awarded with the Unsung Hero 2020 award.
Thanks to Jodie Fraser over at Fraser Allen Estate Management, Ben Head was nominated for his hard work and commitment during the November UK lockdown.
“When lockdown began, a number of my contractors stopped working, but Ben and his team continued. As a result, we were able to undertake emergency works in a timely manner and continue with usual communal repairs and maintenance. He would always check up on me as his client. He knew I had not long had a baby and helped me manage a heavy workload.” Jodie Fraser
The award was to recognise an individual’s hard work, compassion and commitment throughout 2020 and the Covid 19 pandemic, making difficult times a little easier for residents, customers, employees and colleagues.
“I was shocked when I heard I had won. I didn’t even realise I was nominated. However, I would like to give a massive thanks to all our team here at Dependable Limited. Throughout this whole pandemic they have been amazing. Going the extra mile with our customers and ensuring all the work we undertake is safe and customers safety is always put first. Without them I would have never been given this award, so it is more of a shared award for all our team. I would also like to give a massive thanks to Jodie for the nomination.” Ben Head
